Mentha arvensis (corn mint) grows in semi-shade such as light woodland.It is good for attracting bees.  The plant is edible and medicinal.  A herb tea is made from the fresh or dried leaves.

Corn mint is also insect and rodent repellent. The plant can be used in homes and granaries as a strewing herb.
